16 Automatic #1

This one is marked with a #1 because there are a few of them around here and I want to keep track of which is which lol. This one will need some work, she has some makeshift burnt up wiring, the hydro lever is frozen, and a few other ugly things. The motor sounds great so the tear down, cleaning, then checking the hydro is priority. Next Mon and Tues is looking good for pressure washing so here we go. I'll post some pics Monday as she comes apart.

The wiring pics speak for themselves. It's clear that this persons #1 go to tool was the ark welder. They welded the rear bracket and got such good penetration that it's welded to the rear pan and seat pan. :angry They also welded the rear hitch pin in. >( There's some ugly weld in the belt guard and an ugly exhaust, oh yea, and the rear hubs don't match lol.

The fluids look brand new and right on the full marks, at least they kept up with the important stuff I guess.

The tractor is clean but my hands are numb, 53 with wind and no sun is a little cool for pressure washing... :cold

cleaning that made a world of difference........but still a little cool for pressure washing in my book....and now the weather says we may get some snow........... :cool

We better not get any snow. >(
