Yesterday morning it became official. We bought the parts dept of a big Wheel Horse Dealer who's been selling them since 1964. They are really great people and are staying in business, they're just going to be concentrating on selling new tractors instead of fixing the older ones.
A lot of parts have part numbers and a lot don't. There are 758 known part numbers with quantities between 1 and 30 each. There are also more parts without numbers. Don't think the higher quantity numbers are nuts and bolts either lol. Some of the highlights are 21 wiring harness', 5 sets of armrests, 5 hoods, 4 frames, 4 hood stand assy's, lots of belt guards, hydro valves, 18 hydro hoses for the older tractors, lift kits, tons of spindles for decks and tractors, a ton of of D series parts, tons of transmission parts, transmission cases, snow blower augers, tiller tines and sheet metal, FEL front wheel kits, complete 3 point hitch kits, chrome hubcaps, brake + clutch pedals, tons of pulleys, and a lot, lot, lot more.
I'm trying to locate and may have to buy a pretty good sized enclosed trailer to haul all of this so that's what we're up to now. Did I mention it's over 1,000 miles away, one way... :rolling

Boy, are you ever dedicated (and smart).
Good luck, sounds like you're going to need a semi-trailer soon, or at least a 5th Wheel cargo trailer.
Looking forward to seeing lots of pictures from up there; grab all the signs & posters on the walls, in files & outside too.
1,000 miles, that's almost Canada.

1000 miles away that almost counts as a vacation:bliss
care to give a direction of travel?
maybe you could pan-handle a free lunch out of some of us,
in exchange for some NOS parts:hungry

One stop shop coming Motor, you know the plan.
This is gonna be a grueling trip John, and most likely all by myself, that part I am dreading. Will drive up in 1 day, be there early as possible to try to load the next morning, and head back the same day if possible. There's like 5 million things to do around here.
I'll be headed up New England way.
