Site Upgrade

Going to be taking the fancy front page down in a few and putting something temporary up in preparation for a major change.


I've been studying and looking for the fastest and most phone + tablet friendly template system to use around here and it looks like the Bootstrap 3 is the best for the job. The Bootstrap framework is used by Twitter and many other sites, it's also what the new forum software is based off of. It is very light and very fast.


Gonna do this with the site up so don't panic if things start changing. :rolling

Smiley and attachments buttons are down. I have some people scheduled today that are waiting so it may be later today before I can look into it. Smileys still work if you know the code.

Well I cant say I like the upgrade much.....no shout box any more?

There is a long list of things to do, including the shoutbox and all the other modules that used to be on here, and the front page.


I had gotten used to the old look myself and how it worked but technology changes and getting everything working on all devices has made this tough for all of us, especially me...

I do like the ability to view on my Iphone now, but I cannot for the life of me reply to any personal messages. I will await the final results, and thank you for the hard work

It works on the Iphone now? It's supposed to with all the changes, it's just some good news to hear that it actually does...


I have the pm system and most everything else right now disabled while troubleshooting the 2 last quirks I think I have.

I'm actually on the iPhone 6 currently. Checked it on the Android platform as welll and it appears to be operational (and optimized) for both. Can't wait to see the final product, when you get it up and running 100%.

I do understand about the future but I am just old school and its getting harder to teach a old dog new tricks....with that being said I also thank you for the work you do no matter what the future may bring......
