Big Sale Has Started - UPDATED 07-31-25 (01 Apr 2025)

As some of you know my dad passed away 2 months ago today, on May 31, 2025. I posted it in the Members Only section when it happened. Thanks to all of you who have offered kind words on the forum, with phone calls, and visits in person during this time.

The Big Sale is on but not like originally planned, it is a by appointment type of thing now. I don't have the manpower, or the desire to do a big event like originally planned, I just need to sell a lot of parts that are taking up too much space here. I have been told and believe we are overloaded with Wheel Horse parts like no one has ever seen. Peeps have already been coming in from different parts of the country and buying a lot of stuff due to seeing the sale page, and seeing we are the only Wheel Horse only business in the USA that does things on the scale we do. The sale will continue for awhile until I free up some more space but you may not want to wait too long as things are being sold every day and there are limits to how many of certain parts will be sold.

As it says on the page it is still under construction and the page isn't finished yet. I've had a ton of calls for parts and the Big Sale Page may help answer some questions about what is here before peeps call. I hope that page is also clear that we DO NOT SHIP anything... This is a by appointment type of thing now. Be sure to call before you come to make sure the day isn't already full with peeps scheduled to come in, and make sure what you want is still available.

I just sold one of these and had another in the lot that needs some work so I needed to get it ready to go.  It's not the prettiest one around here but there's no bad rust on it, and all the pulleys and spindles are free and quiet.  It had some pieces missing like the wheels, lift quadrant, handle + spring, but I have plenty of those here.  The left wheel adjuster trunnion was frozen up really bad so a tool was made to take them off, been meaning to do that for a long time.  I'll put the making of the tool in the Home Made Tools section later in case anyone wants ideas on how this one was made.

It also had some damage from the blades running through the front of the deck, I see that a lot on these.  This one is mine and no one is waiting so I had time to take pics of the repairs on it.  I almost cut the wheel bracket off to make a nice looking repair on the right side like the left but then I figured once it has the wheel put back on and it's on a tractor no one will really see it anyway.

The hardest part of this job was getting the left wheel trunnion off of the adjuster.  There is a post in the Home Made Tools section showing the trunnion remover made for this job and all the ones after this that are stuck.  I always make sure everything done here or sold from here are in perfect working order, nobody likes surprises...

Once the tool was finished up yesterday it took the trunnion off in 30 seconds and there was enough time left to finish it up late yesterday.  All the missing parts are on it, the deck is all set up, everything adjusted, and even has a correct belt on it.

Time to move on to the next project.
