1" X 42" Belt Sander

I finally finish my latest project. A 1" X 42" belt sander. Some call these knife sanders. This thing really works nice - for wood and metal. Especially on small parts. Much better than my 6" X "46 Belt - 12" disc sander

How cool is that!! looks real hardy. Its a real time saver, I use one when doing any metal work.

Sometimes there's no substitute for small. Looks nice and should come in very handy.

Nice work. looks like a great design. Often thought about having one.

Thanks for the kind words guys. This was a nice project. Not expensive if you have a motor (I did).

This sander has four nice features.

1) Deep throat
2) It will sand right up to a corner
3) The platen is easily changed. Insert a round one and you sand the inside of a curve.
4) It has really nice dust collection
