Big Sale Has Started - UPDATED 07-31-25 (01 Apr 2025)

As some of you know my dad passed away 2 months ago today, on May 31, 2025. I posted it in the Members Only section when it happened. Thanks to all of you who have offered kind words on the forum, with phone calls, and visits in person during this time.

The Big Sale is on but not like originally planned, it is a by appointment type of thing now. I don't have the manpower, or the desire to do a big event like originally planned, I just need to sell a lot of parts that are taking up too much space here. I have been told and believe we are overloaded with Wheel Horse parts like no one has ever seen. Peeps have already been coming in from different parts of the country and buying a lot of stuff due to seeing the sale page, and seeing we are the only Wheel Horse only business in the USA that does things on the scale we do. The sale will continue for awhile until I free up some more space but you may not want to wait too long as things are being sold every day and there are limits to how many of certain parts will be sold.

As it says on the page it is still under construction and the page isn't finished yet. I've had a ton of calls for parts and the Big Sale Page may help answer some questions about what is here before peeps call. I hope that page is also clear that we DO NOT SHIP anything... This is a by appointment type of thing now. Be sure to call before you come to make sure the day isn't already full with peeps scheduled to come in, and make sure what you want is still available.

Welding Table Stand/Organizer was created by Geno
I made this a few weeks ago, the rubber mat I kept things that were used a lot on was piled up and things were getting misplaced.  It was taking more time to find something than to remedy the problem.  It was made from mostly leftover metal from other projects and things I saved from taking other things apart over time.

The design was simple, just a removable shelf for when I need the entire table.  The front two 5/8" rods go into the table and the back 2 set on top.  It could be put anywhere in the shop by just drilling two 5/8" holes.  The first few pics are trying out a new magnetic drill purchased last month, trying a coring bit, and a regular drill bit.  It was a breeze drilling through the 1" thick table and the holes were perfectly straight.  The mag drill will drill holes up to 2" in diameter, it's a bit of a monster but too much is better than not enough.

There will be several posts from start to finish to help break up the pics and explain things without writing a book here.

There were a few axle rods from something in the rod section so they got put to use.  I didn't realize they were cold rolled until the iron worker sheared them, it sounded like a gun going off.  They were put on the front and regular 5/8" for the back.  The frame is 3/4" wide x 1/4" flat stock.

Next up was using some small grating leftover from building the 5' x 5' movable welding table many years ago.  After that a small framework made from 1/4" rod was used to support the shelf.  There was also an extra 18" magnetic tool holder bought years ago when doing improvements to the press and iron worker so it got put to use.

Now there was a removable shelf and removable grating just like I had planned.  It should have been done but after that I thought it needs more stuff on it, that's when things went a little out of control as happens with me a lot lol.

I have a lot of 1-1/2" x 1/8" x 4' angle iron pieces someone gave me years ago so I got some of it out and made a spot to hang tape measures, and keep the most used straight rules behind them.  Then I thought somewhere to keep the most used screwdrivers and marking stuff would be nice to keep there too.  The iron worker punched some holes in another piece the same angle iron then welded on the shelf for that.

The shelf grating is black and I plan on painting the rest of it red some day but I'm waiting to see what else may be added to it later when more time allows.  It's easy to find things now then put them right back where they belong.  It was time well spent.
