Everything is apart, has spent it's time in the parts washer, is cleaned and degreased, and is ready to go in the blaster tomorrow.

Starting to look good.

Blasting is all done, tomorrow is painting day.

It never ceases to amaze me how well the paint holds up on 55+ year old wheels.

What an awesome warm and sunny day.

The big door and windows are open to enjoy the weather and do a little painting. :dance

Getting some holes blocked off and doing the final finishing on what will be red.

Running a little behind on the engine, had to order another crankshaft for it, (Mr Kohler) Big John and I just weren't happy with what we had, it had to go .012 over to make it right so it's getting replaced.

I absolutely love my new silver wheel paint and it looks 10 times better in person.

Nothing should look this good underneath lol.

All of the sheet metal will be ready for paint today. After the obvious was dollied out it was all covered with black primer then gone over with a DA with 180 grit to find any other major flaws I missed. A few coats of 3M Acryl spot putty in a few places did the trick and will hold and flex. It won't be a Lamborghini but it will be nice.

Lots of progress today, things were a little bit quieter than normal thank goodness.
