Not a lot going on today, got the rear pulleys and hubs blasted, painted and on. The rear setup with the color combinations, all new hardware and G9 lug kit is one of the things I do that I like the most, especially my red dots on the ends of the shafts lol. Steve picked out the chrome closed end lug nuts for this one.

Never used one of those. I started painting about 42 years ago after school (at 17) and still have my Sharp and Binks guns from then and some newer ones that I bought when I did painting and vehicle restorations full time from 94-97. I quit painting full time when I built this shop in Oct 97, it was too nice to do big paint jobs in and moved more into diagnostics, electrical, and general vehicle repair because I had so much demand for it anyway. I still have all my body shop equipment, PDR tools, and lots of supplies so when I started the Horsing around I already had everything to do it with on shelves in the back.
I don't ever sell equipment because I may need it to do some of my own or dad's stuff. We can't trust anyone else to do a good job around here so I do it all myself or with dad. It's a lot better than paying someone then having to go redo it anyway lol.

Been doing a lot of disassembly and cleaning up small parts, seems like that's where most of the time is. Getting ready to start on what's left of the main console.

Most of the blasting is done, the hood was a nightmare to blast, I think it was double dipped to get rid of a lot of light grinding marks on the spot welds. It was terribly think in the grooves in the front of the hood. Something must have went amiss, never saw anything like this before.

Just doing some assy. It never ceases to amaze me that the camera can't get reds right, or makes the floor look dirty in some pics but yet it picks up every piece of dust on the tractor lol.
