Big Sale Has Started - UPDATED 07-31-25 (01 Apr 2025)
As some of you know my dad passed away 2 months ago today, on May 31, 2025. I posted it in the Members Only section when it happened. Thanks to all of you who have offered kind words on the forum, with phone calls, and visits in person during this time.
The Big Sale is on but not like originally planned, it is a by appointment type of thing now. I don't have the manpower, or the desire to do a big event like originally planned, I just need to sell a lot of parts that are taking up too much space here. I have been told and believe we are overloaded with Wheel Horse parts like no one has ever seen. Peeps have already been coming in from different parts of the country and buying a lot of stuff due to seeing the sale page, and seeing we are the only Wheel Horse only business in the USA that does things on the scale we do. The sale will continue for awhile until I free up some more space but you may not want to wait too long as things are being sold every day and there are limits to how many of certain parts will be sold.
As it says on the page it is still under construction and the page isn't finished yet. I've had a ton of calls for parts and the Big Sale Page may help answer some questions about what is here before peeps call. I hope that page is also clear that we DO NOT SHIP anything... This is a by appointment type of thing now. Be sure to call before you come to make sure the day isn't already full with peeps scheduled to come in, and make sure what you want is still available.

I started on the right side and stripped out the nut on my puller, first one ever but it prob got damaged when the bolt got stripped out on Bob's 414-8 that was posted on here last month. I'll have to cut the nut off and replace it but that will be next week. I should have done them both at the same time but it felt ok, my mistake on that one. The rest of the pics are just the leaking rearend seals on everything.

The first and last pics also show the double nuts to keep the left motor bolts tight, I guess they didn't keep nylocks around. Maybe they should have reused the original ones, nah that would be too easy...

The hubs, input shaft, and brake pulleys are blasted and ready for paint. Tomorrow morning the rearend will get drained and seals pulled, then it will be ready for paint as well.

Next was getting the oil drained to start on the drain pipe issues. Not much oil in it and it looked pretty rough. The biggest problem someone had was trying to braise a brass fitting in a steel reducer. A brass reducer should have been used at the least. The steel reducer has damage to the threads as well, it prob leaked and they tightened the daylights out of it. It was pretty tough getting it out. Peeps don't believe in thread tape I guess but it sure makes life easier...
Last pic is the fuel leak at the pump. It's leaking even with the fuel shut off and no pressure on it.

The last pic is why the lights don't want to work, the wire is burnt up and was shorting out to the frame.
I made a few other discoveries but it's getting late so I'll put them up tomorrow.
