Worn Spindles was created by GT 14
The underside of my front wheel spindles are grooved from neglected bearings. One solution I was considering was to sleeve them and use oversize bearings.

Ideas please.

Yes I did, had read your post and liked the idea but figured sleeve and oversize bearings would be allot cheaper. Still thinking about it tho, was the surplus store where you got the hubs online?

I would weld up the grove and grind it off to repair the spindle. :)

Looks like the hubs I used are out of stock.....probably had a supply of them and sold them all......

That's the nastiest mess I've ever seen GT. The inner bearing surface looks ok, all you would have to fix is that deeper groove and where the bearing sits on the outside. :)
