Well....the tips are sweet....then they get a little grainy and drier...and yeah...a little chickeny....could probably replace chicken in some things....where it gets its name....
They really absorb moisture.....this pan had about 3/4 stick of butter and a cup of milk.....salt and pepper.....you can see how it is all absorbed...
My son said he likes them better than portabellas....which are really tasty....I can say....these grow on ya!!!
