Protecting paint from fuel spills was created by motor12
After painting my 854 fuel tank I wanted something to protect against the odd drip of gas that always finds its way to the paint. What I use is a ceramic clear coat engine enamel rated to 500 degrees. The Mfg. is Dupli-Color. The clear coat is somewhat resistant to the gas and gives you time to wipe the spill before it gets to the red paint.
