1990 , 520-8 ,

ok, I just tried posting this but it went blank. let me try again. I just got this from the original owner, he bought it new, used it, but not abused. 60 inch deck, single stage snowthrower, weights, chains. had it serviced every year where it was bought new. I huess I will tear it down and redo it. maybe not, alot of things happening in my life right now, anyway, I couldnt let it slip by me. enjoy the pictures, these are pretty rare to find. funny thing is, it was less than 2 miles from me and I never saw it in all these years. I am waiting for it to be delivered to me. Its dirty as heck, enjoy the pictures. just not 100 percent sure what to do with it yet.

You need a project and the tractor needs someone like you to get her right again.

Yes, the owner always left the weights and chains on. Matter of fact, right before I took those pictures he just finished mowing his lawn for the last time. His property is very hilly and steep. He felt better with those chains on for more grip. It's an ugly little beast, I don't know if I will get into it till after the winter. My main concentration is finding a 2 stage, mainly for my xi, but now that I have a 520 again, I could do a 2 stage for that. Life has been full of bumps and bruises for me right now. But I am glad to be tearing into another machine for my minds sake.I am plum out of room, packed to the gills. But I couldn't resist buying this rare stallion.

Hi Glenn, Good to hear you got that 520-8. It looks like a fantastic project. And from a few I've worked on it doesn't look too bad

I hear you on setting it aside until next spring. Since I retired, projects take on different priorities. I try to keep things lined up to keep me busy, but important things take precedence.
