Nice 417-8

Doing some work on this for a customer but thought some may like to see it.  It's an 86 model, got 1,149 hours on it and was bought new by a grandpa, passed on to the son, and now passed on to a 10 year old grandson.  It's all original paint + such and is super nice. 

This is the first real work it's ever had, it's been hanging out 30-40 minutes from here it's whole life.  You never know what nice stuff is lurking nearby... 

 

Since I have pics for the customer thought I would put them in here.  There was an oil leak on the rear of the engine that made a mess.  It contaminated the belt, PTO clutch + brake, the slipping burnt the PTO surface, the drive belt was stretched out and making all kinds of noise, and it got a noisy idler replaced.  It also go new fuel lines, filter, fuel cap, and a few other little things.  First thing it got this morning was a good cleaning while it was still cool outside.
