520H Rear Axle Oil Seals

Update. I tried the screw approach. The metal was too soft and screw pulled right out, but it did give me hole to pry on. A couple of holes about 3/4" apart and I was able to pry the metal up and out of the way. Then I was able to collapse the OD of seal and pull it out. So I declare success. The new seal is in, the hub has a new key way, and I'm back in business. So far no leaks. I don't like the condition of the key way on the axle, But a least the hub is tight. I'll keep an eye on it.

You got that right jm. This just one battle won. Its about 10th on this tractor. Only about 143 (+/-) to go.

It's coming along. I got the auger/impeller shaft with the rebuilt gear box all ready to go. I'm waiting for some warmer weather to do some painting. It got up to 27 today with flurries, so not much progress. Where is spring?

I'll post some pictures as I make more progress.
