What are you guys using for fuel tank sealers when you have some rust? Also, where are you buying it and at what cost?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Most automotive stores carry some tank sealers. Call a tank repair shop like a radator shop to see what they use. I have been eyeing por15's brand as I like there product. I don't have too many issues with rust, but the one i did with the E tank meathod and never coated it after. Discolered inside, but after 3 years the fuel is still clean and still has the same filter. About 10 tanks of fuel, but I only use rec fuel with no alcohol. Realgas.com

For the metal Wheel Horse tanks Justin.
Thanks Scott. I've been looking at the Red Kote. I've seen the Por15 around also.

I have never tried this, but I think it should work. Fill the tank 1/4 the way with nuts and bolts, strap it to one of the drive wheels of another tractor and go cut the grass for a hour or so. Should work good to clean out all the rust. Herd good things about Red Coat tank liner in the past. The cheaper ones do have a pealing issue from what I have read online. My thought was to getas much of the rust out as you can before coating.

Thanks Scott, would be quieter to do it that way than in the shop.
