A few pics of a 5010 I rebuilt last fall
Pressing out the hubs
Internals
Axle bushing removal tool....
Bad brake shaft bearing (missing a needle) and seal
Closeup of the 2-3 gear
Reassembly nearly complete.
Buttoned back up and a fresh coat of paint
Wish I'd taken more pics of the reassembly but my camera crew was late for work that day :rolling

after looking at the pictures I remembered a add I saw for a wheelhorse and one of the comments about it from someone looking at it was that he didn't want it cause it had the weak 8 speed tranny.....anybody ever heard of a weak or not so good one....or was there a better or best that you could get.....were all 8 speeds the same?

Nice job Major. Looks like you found the problems and corrected them. Your pictures make it look easy. I know its not.

BTW, I like your press, looks just like mine. One of best investments I've made.

I could not get by without a good hydraulic press. That is the one thing in my garage that gets used continually, either for my needs or for the family/neighbors! It's a tool you'll never regret buying!!

Same press as mine Bob, good price too. Money well spent for sure! I never would have got those hubs off without it.
