I would check the points 1st, and make sure you're getting power to the coil and points. Call me if you want to. :thumb

Your right, its time to make some stuff. I decided to gather up what parts I had for a Kohler K91 and put together a nice little motor. Spent most of the morning disassembling the block and wire brushing with mineral spirits to get rid of years of oil and baked on crud not to mention the old blue paint. Should have taken a before photo but forgot. here's the block and oil pan after some nice red paint.

Still in cleaning mode. :tounge2

I have a wide path to the parts washer, there was a 4' shelving unit back there and the clean part of the work bench has been stacked with parts that needed to be put in the parts washer for years. The last of the parts to be put in the parts washer are disassembled and ready to go in tonight. There was another 4' shelving unit in front of the lawn ranger with the blue tarps on the seat. Both shelving units are back with the rest of the parts now. I've blasted, painted, cleaned and assembled a lot of rear hitches and a lot of other things. I'm finally getting some things done lol. :woo

I recognize some of those parts. Enough to keep you busy for a while. Looking forward to your next dealer buy out.

My back is wore out by 7pm or so from standing in 1 place too much, either the parts washer or the blaster. :whew The next round is blasted, painting started, and the parts washer is filled up again. I think I may be starting to see an end in sight. I have a nice path to the parts washer and another work bench cleared. :woo
