Most of the front brake set up is done. The factory lock system is blasted, painted and in the tractor. I took the rear bracket that was welded on the back of the factory rod off and it will be welded where the vise grips are holding it, then I need to make an extension for the original rod to my new rod so they can link together. The spring is temporary to hold it in the first brake lock notch, the entire travel will only be about 1/2" from released to locked so I want to make sure it's in the lock area. It still has the bottom spring setup off of the original setup so there will be some adjustment.

A lot going on today but I did manage to finish the front braking setup. Everything from the pedal to the lock setup is original minus the extra rod tab, and the adjustment is original just flipped so it gets pushed on instead of pulled on. It works really well, I just had to rebend the rod a little from yesterday.

The fender is on and notched for the new brake setup. It's not the prettiest but that will be fixed after it's plated lol. I made a new bracket to hold 2 fuse blocks and moved them up a little above the battery top so they're easier to get to. Now to figure out what is next...

Good news is I got out for pizza and to pick up my engine today. It's a Kohler command Pro 25HP.
Bad news is it is in pieces lol. :rolling The rings were stuck in it from sitting but everything else looks good minus a good cleaning, rings, gaskets, and reassembly.
