Big Sale Is On - UPDATED 03-26-26

The Big Sale is on but not like originally planned, it is a by appointment type of thing now. Be sure to call before you come to make sure the day isn't already full with peeps scheduled to come in, and make sure what you want is still available.

We sold a 310 this morning with a plow that didn't have an height adjustment knob setup like a lot of them do. I looked at Toro parts and it costs about 120.00 plus freight to buy the parts to do it, just the casting and bolt were 83.00 plus freight. I told him we would make one, and as long as we're making one we'll have a kit and parts available in the store. I think we can do a heavier duty complete kit for around 80.00. :)

It will have plenty of steel and we're gonna increase the "L" bolt from 7/16 to 1/2" thread. Will keep everyone updated. Here's the rough draft.

The pipe insert has to be moved back about 1/4", other than that all is good. :)

We made the pattern for the main bracket minus the pipe hole and located a J bolt that would work today. The new bolt is 1/2" instead of 7/16", is 3/4" shorter, and has less threads but more than it needs. I thought the original bolt was too long and had too many threads sticking out, probably because it was right off the shelf like they did most things. Not a bad thing, we're just trying to improve on it. If we're gonna build one we'll make it a little heavier and make it look a little better. We're also on to a knob like the original only with a 1/2" brass insert and a 2 3/8" diameter instead if the 1 3/4" original diameter. Heavier is better right lol, no comebacks on this piece for sure.

We found a knob exactly like the original, only it has the 1/2" threads we need. This is the sample we got yesterday. :)

We also got a sample of another one we're working on...

Probably won't have a cookout before the show, it will be here before we know it and we're terribly behind. We just got back with the limos... :rolling
