Your in the groove, looking better. Let me ask please, why the 3m sanding foam? Curious on that. Ty

oh, also, like the way you found that brass bushing. Might have to scarf one up.

Looks great! Are you rebuilding the engine or just paint?

Coming together nicely John. If that seat is what I think it is you shouldn't need any additional weights. :goodjob

thanks guys for all your comments it seems like we are getting to the fun part
Glenn
to me the sanding foam gives me a much more even contact area.
it takes away the pressure points that i would see when using colth.
it also produces a very nice feathered edge all by its self with normal use.
i use 2 like different types i will post pic after today of them.
the bushing is something i could not happier about. the steering feels great !
its a 3/4id X 7/8od flanged bushing just over $2 funny thing is the lock collar was just a few cents cheaper...
let me know if you cant find any i would be happy to mail it to you.
GT the engine a H70 has been gone through sitting next on bench waiting to have magenito put back on and set up.
ANY AND ALL HELP WITH H70 MAGENITO & POINTS w/ 3AMP COIL PACK WELCOME TUESDAY EVENING IN FRONT GARAGE.
STUDYING THE WIRING DIAGRAMS TODAY>
A RUNNER TUESDAY EVENING WOULD BE CONSIDERED A GOD SEND
Major not even thing is what it appears to be that perty seat is 100% cast aluminum and wieghts just a few pounds
hard to tell from pics but its unpainted and just its cast aluminum finish it came from a amish farm supply store a little east of me.

when you smell gas, after the test run its not a good thing. the fact that the rustoleum is not effected by gas is very reassuring good thing! wiped off with no damage,
anyway added to the title today tin-smithing turns out the tank was leaking at the seam so i took it down to bare metal, added some good flux and some 95/5 silver solder.
no more leak, here a pic before the soldering.

well the tank is back in with no leaks...its made test runs good to go needs a little more of its bling. but it running like a top idle to full throttle. the governor pushing and pulling it to set speed.
its 3 amp coil is putting out voltage but no battery in place yet, and decals to be picked out more in the morning when i got time
